Lasting Effects Of The First American Industrial Revolution
The first American Industrial Revolution set a pathway for the Untied States' gain of power. All of the inventions and technological advancements that created the first factories would later lead to the creation of modern high-tech machinery. The new transportation systems allowed for America to, for the first time, be connected between opposite ends of the country. The Revolution also set into play the American way of life for years to come; an increase in factory workers and low wages, and a decrease in farming and agriculture running the American economy. The traditional ways of farming and an agricultural based economy had ended, and an age of industry had begun.
